The Bleecker Street Pizza Lore
The Bleecker Street authentic Tuscan thin-crust pizza has been
served in my family’s home for four generations.
My
grandma, Nonna Maria, left her birthplace of Tuscany at age
nineteen, bringing with her the family recipe for this
delectable pizza. (She always claimed it was the reason my
grandfather married her!)
Its tantalizing aroma and sublime flavor are part of my fondest
childhood memories. Now it is my privilege to bring Nonna’s
recipe to my adopted home of America.
I
hope Nonna’s pizza will bring the same enjoyment to the people
of New York City.
